I just fired up a fresh installation of Kubuntu with Firefox and I cannot reproduce the problem. The steps I took to recreate the problem are listed below.
1 - Installed Firefox
2 - Created bookmarks to the following sites:
3 - Pressed CTRL-H to open the HISTORY tab.
4 - Clicked VIEW from the pulldown and selected "BY MOST VISITED"
5 - Began clicking on the sites and using a checklist (so I was sure how many times I clicked on each link) I began to tally what link should appear at the top of the list.
6 - The link clicked the most appeared at the top of the list.
(Please note I purposely mis-spelled Craigslist and occasionally typed the link into the address bar in hopes maybe there was a combination of sites that would cause the problem you describe.)
I did check my history found on my primary machine. I do not like the fact that

I did check my history found on my primary machine. I do not like the fact that
https:/ /mail.google. com/mail/ ?shva=1# inbox
and
https:/ /mail.google. com/mail/ ?zx=1sbl7njp5y8 jp&shva= 1#inbox
.. are considered different sites but I am not convinced this is a bug either. I think it just qualifies as poor design.
Is there something I am missing?
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better!
