This is not a feature. Disabling the "view source" option is perhaps a feature, though I'll contend it's a bit nanny-ish. However, the current situation--want to view the source of the supposed attack page? Ha! Here, have some useless widgets to click on that do NOTHING!--is patently wrong. Were it IE, I'd think that I *was* now infected merely by viewing the source; after all, my UI has stopped working!
Disallowing users to view source is a valid option, but presenting them with an entirely non-functional interface complete with entirely useless buttons and links is /not/.
