Comment 25 for bug 229745

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid/+source/xulrunner-1.9/+bug/229745/comments/15 points to an upstream explanation of the problem with sqlite performance. As I understand it, the problem has been mitigated, but not completely resolved, in firefox 3.0.1, and further resolution is not likely to happen in the intrepid timeframe. I'm therefore marking this bug as 'wontfix' for hardy and intrepid, though of course if a fix becomes available soon upstream that can be considered.
