So long as this problem will be fixed in a future version of Firefox, I see no reason to waste developer resources filing it in the current version. I can live with the problem until Firefox3 is released. Thanks.
Last note: the same problem happens in the context menu in Fx2 as well as in the address bar. So you may want to check for that in Fx3.
