I'm having troubles with the same bug i think.

I was trying this command:
xinit xterm -- :1 vt8

Shouldn't this simply open an xterm applet (without window manager) on display 1, virtual terminal 8 ?

It just makes my screen go black and my keyboard unresponsive :-(

Is this related ?
