Evolution filtering freezes with message "Filtering new messages (0%)". This appears to only be an issue with one of either junk filtering or panel notification turned on. If I turn off one or the other then all of my filters are completed successfully. Evolution gives no indication that a new mail has arrived, doesn't show unread messages in my folders, and definitely does not take the actions defined in my filters on messages.
Expected result:
I would expect filtering to complete when new messges arrive. I would expect the messages that match my rules to have actions taken on them. I would expect to be notified of new messages when they arrive.
Work arounds:
I seem to have a choice of two work-arounds.
* Disable junk filtering (Mail Preferences -> Junk -> Check infoming messages for junk)
or
* Disable panel notification (Mail Preferences -> General -> Indicate new messages in the panel)
I have included a backtrace. It was captured with both Junk filtering and Notification enabled. It seems to point at org_gnome_mail_new_notify doing something, but I don't know what.
Binary package hint: evolution
