1. Boot from LiveCD and start the graphical install by double-clicking on the Install icon.
2. Welcome scren, scroll down to Simplified Chinese and you will see one character missing (it show the unicode value instead).
If you continue the installation in Chinese the system installs well but the whole font used to display Simplified Chinese misses about 30% characters I would say, making it unusable.
Note 1: Doesn't happen in Ubuntu install
Note 2: at least one other language is affected by looking at this list: the one before KurdĂ®. All characters appear as their unicode values
