Thanks Seth! Looking at this a bit from a MIR team perspective:

- This is a complicated package :-/

- Needs a team bug subscriber

- Needs a look at running tests, as Seth says

- What's the story with this in Debian? As I said, our packaging is a little complicated, and it would be good to line ourselves up with the same package names and such if and when Debian packages this. And share the maintenance burden.
