It isn't possible erase any text at all during the installation. See the bug concerning usernames (#31279), there is the same problem there (but with with serious consequences)...

This bug concerning accent marks (á, í, ã, ç, etc.) happens not only in "full name" form, but everywhere you can type during the installation.
