$ chromium-browser --enable-logging=stderr
ATTENTION: default value of option force_s3tc_enable overridden by environment.
I'm also running the gnome-keyring-daemon in the foreground and see this message:
** (gnome-keyring-daemon:31165): WARNING **: asked to register item /org/freedesktop/secrets/collection/login/12, but it's already registered
** Message: The Secret Service was already initialized
Chromium starts up quickly, but network manager can't access the keyring and hangs for a minute or two before it gives up when I try to connect to a VPN. Then it prompts me for the passwords, as it was unable to retrieve them from gnome-keyring.
Killing and restarting the daemon fixes the problem. Every night I suspend my laptop when I go home and find the deamon is hung again the next morning.
Running "chromium-browser --enable- logging= stderr" results in:
