It is less frequent.

Prior to this most recent version of CUPS, I was able to reproduce the error using a particular word processing document. If I printed this letter twice, it would print once, then print the page of PJL codes. That has stopped.

A few days later, I tried to print a different letter, and got similar symptoms. Just now trying to print the second letter, I noticed that the second copy gets listed in the print queue as "held," and then when released I get a page of PJL codes (similar to, but not identical to, the old ones) and then the second copy.
