Please undo the blacklisting by removing /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-usblp.conf and turning off and turning on your printer again. Then please update from my PPA to get the CUPS packages version 1.5.2-9ubuntu1.1~ppa3. Please cancel all jobs and turn off and turn on your printer again. Then try whether your problem gets solved.
