I am really not an expert! but:

could it be that there is a problem with global dbus conf file(s) and/or dbus conf file for computer-janitor ?
/etc/dbus-1/session.conf
/etc/dbus-1/system.conf
/etc/dbus-1/system.d/com.ubuntu.ComputerJanitor.conf
