A good message: With compiz 1:0.9.9~daily12.12.05-0ubuntu2 updated today (on 13.04) and the latest Nvidia 313.09 drivers window resizing is ways better (not perfect but definitely much better). Before today I was not able to resize a window in normal mode, now it is possible (even if there are too much grey areas left).
