I've tested this today and the acceleration works.

- kVideoDecoderName: "VDAVideoDecoder"
- Distro: Ubuntu 22.04
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Also about the libva

native: vainfo: VA-API version: 1.14 (libva 2.12.0) [installed libva packages are at version 2.14]
snap: vainfo: VA-API version: 1.14 (libva 2.6.0)
