The reason for Samuele's comment was that there was a user in this thread who posted a comment full of swearing (with the F-word) in a non-constructive way. That comment was removed rather quickly, so I believe not many people saw it. Samuele's comment on its own indeed can be confusing. I fully agree with him that rudeness is not the way to go.
For the record, I am also a frustrated Ubuntu user who suffers from the same bug, but I felt it important to point this out, to be fair to both sides. I fully agree with your article otherwise, but IMO it might be better to leave out this part.
