Hi Steve, would you be able to describe how the patch worked Vs current behaviour?

If we can’t touch the brltty package, could we remove it from standard install (like in Debian) to minimise the number of people impacted and/or make it incompatible with every other package which might be incompatible with it (such as Arduino) so people get prompted to remove brltty if it is installed - include special warning if you feel it’s needed)?
