Interesting...
I used UNetbootin to put a Live version (daily build) on a flash drive.
I noticed that the pause menu popped up when my screensaver kicked in. I play the game with a gamepad, and apparently gamepad input doesn't register as user activity. I will test if in 8.04 it's also the screen saver that's causing the pause menu to appear. To be continued...
