Amarok freezes on start up

Bug Description
Amarok completely freezes on me on start up. I had deleted all my settings for Amarok in ~/.kde/
This is on 14.10.

Please start Amarok in a konsole with these arguments:
amarok -d --nofork
and check the error messages.
I suspect it is a well-known bug in the 2.8 version with the analyzer applet (https:/ /bugs.kde. org/show_ bug.cgi? id=327150), if yes, here is the workaround: share/config/ amarok_ homerc and removing it from the plugins list
disable the analyzer applet by editing ~/.kde/
Also please file Amarok bugs downstream in http:// bugs.kde. org, as for all other KDE packages
