Intel Core 2 T 5750

2 GB DDR2 RAM, 160 GB HDD
Intel X 3100 Graphics

Sound works flawlessly with Ubuntu 9.04

This problem is on a Live CD. Is it because I need to download stuff to make the sound functional?
