Comment 6 for bug 375285

My laptop is overheating with jaunty as well.

HP DV5242ea.

I thought it was the HD at first, but I kept my laptop raised and it still switched off after a short time of use. I was a little confused, and then I noticed that there was a point on my laptop that was not raised. I assume the CPU was here, and this part got VERY hot.

So, it seems that the CPU is not getting regularly cooled. Could this have something to do with the fan?
