Untranslated label "In Progress" when upgrading system

I did some grepping on this, the only "In Progress" i could find is in
lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/qt5/qml/Ubuntu/Components/Themes/Ambiance/ProgressBarStyle.qml: text: progressBar.indeterminate ? i18n.tr("In Progress")

that seems to be translated (at least to the po level)

Maybe you had an old langpack that didn't include this translation yet?

That's a toolkit issue, reassigning

using "dtr("ubuntu-ui-toolkit" ..." makes the translation work, the code is run in the settings namespace and is currently trying to get the translation from that domain it seems

I cannot imagine a case where it would be a good idea for a progress bar to have the label "In Progress". It's a progress bar; of course it's in progress. I suggest just deleting the string.

It is an indeterminate progress bar. It will only be blinking, not show a progress percentage. So showing "In Progress" may be more clear than now showing it.

I applied seb128's suggestion to fix it.

If the design for the indeterminate progress bar has to change and not show text, please report another bug.
