after modifying that on ubuntu lts 14.04 and accessing gedit with ; sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources list and using hash (#) symbol the application named as do-release-upgrade crashes and shows a notification that it has stopped unexpectedly. doesnt solve the whole problem. need this fixed- contact me @ <email address hidden>
