I was able to reproduce this and also the same behavior occurs with the Software Center -> Help "About Launchpad Software Center"
The warnings that occur in .xsession-errors are not any different than those that appear on other ARM devices.
I did notice different behavior after attaching a usb mouse/keyboard. When the help link is opened via (touch) It appears that the mouse button is being clicked and held down, hence causing the text to highlight. This does not occur when using a mouse/keyboard
. Follow the steps below:
Touch Only
1a.) Remove any usb devices attached to Nexus7
2a.) Launch Nautilus via touch
3a.) Select Help -> About
4a.) Click on any section of the About window simulates mouse click to be held down. All text appears to highlight (as if the mouse button was held down)
5a.) Close About window and logout
Mouse/Keyboard
1b.) Attach USB Mouse/Keyboard (DO NOT TOUCH SCREEN)
2b.) Launch Nautilus via mouse
3b.) Select Help -> About
4b.) Click on Nautilus Link
5b.) Firefox should Open with Help Info
6b.) Close firefox
Repeat steps 4B -> 6B a few times, then stop and perform step 4B with your finger. Notice how all the text highlights and appears to simulate the mouse button being held down.
