I have upgraded from 20.04, using Compiz as default compositor.

My window decoration theme is set to Adapta-Eta in Appearance, but after each restart, it resets to Yaru when Compiz is selected.

The issue seems absent with Marco (but see 1975437)

I have temporarily fixed it by adding "gsettings set org.mate.Marco.general theme Adapta-Eta" to startup scripts.
