The extension developers have reported that the function "SetNextMessageAfterDelete" - no longer exists in TB3. Why it is no longer there or supportable - is not clear to me. I vote to bring back this function (if technically feasible)- and if this is the only reason why these add ons no longer function / or provide a Thunderbird written preference (and the code that goes along with it) - to control this behavior.
