Hi! Here's the problem:
1. Boot in Ubuntu install CD. Choose "Russian" as language. Choose "install" (on right).

2. Nothing interesting, move on

3. Move on

4. City selection screen. I want to choose "Kiev" (Ukraine), but keyboard types in Russian.
I want to switch to English, but Alt+Shift doesn't do the job and there's no language indicator

Proposed solution:
Add language indicator that has chosen language + english (just in case).
Changed in ubiquity (Ubuntu): | |

There are two keyboard layout indicators available.
One is for alternative input types the second one offers keyboard layouts.
By default in Russian it has different types of Russian Keyboards.
You can setup an english one there as well.
