Bug Description
Hello, since the Plymouth screen hasn't changed since Lucid, i thought that it may be time to change it a little bit. I personally like the standard one too, more than on previous releases, although the one from Karmic is my favourite.
However, the Dots are nice, but what about adding just a nice background ? Nothing big special, but maybe an Ocelot ?
Sadly Plymouth still has sometimes problems with Graphic cards so it falls back to 640X480. That means that the Wallpaper must also look great when the Resolution is not so high...
I'm not soo much professional with coding, but I don't think I have to. I've already done a plymouth theme in the past and alot people seemed to like it
http://
Is anyone interested in it as well?
Lets Double Post, my idea is :
What about using the plymouth-greeter option ?
Only thing left to do would be to let it working also on booting, because on shutdown it works fine.
then just use it with a nice theme :
Why not use a Wallpaper instead of leting plymouth drawing this damn things ?
This wallpaper looks nice I think

And because of "oneiric", what about letting the ocelot dreaming a little bit?
A Symbol for dreaming are sky, clouds, stars and so on
Now, what about using the Xsplash from Karmic : the one from Xubuntu 9.10 with this kind of lights flying around in the middle of the screen ?
Using many .png s, this might look good :)
