I'm pretty sure `sudo' wants to connect to dbus in order to fetch the user env or something, in order to preserve it (-E: the user wishes to preserve their existing environment variables.)
This is especially true since the sudo call isn't denied, else we would have some more failures. Sooo.. what about dropping that -E thingy? :)
