$ dconf read /org/gnome/ settings- daemon/ plugins/ xsettings/ overrides desktop/ interface/ scaling- factor desktop/ interface/ text-scaling- factor
$ dconf read /org/gnome/
uint32 1
$ dconf read /org/gnome/
1.25
As you can see I'm using a step of 1.25 in my laptop screen, although I use 1.5 when I'm connected to an external hidpi monitor.
