get the Zeitgeist PPA from http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/ppa/zeitgeist?dist=maverick ; install the package zeitgeist-datasource-tomboy, then enable this plugin in Tomboy preferences. See also here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/32161/how-do-i-get-synapse-to-search-my-tomboy-notes .
