The passphrase-rewrap fix failed with the following error:
"ERROR: Encrypted private directory is not setup properly"

Had to rm -fR /home and then recreate it with "adduser --encrypt-home" and then restore. This is a SYSTEM KILLER, if one doesn't know what to do.
