I had to re-organise a half dozen machines /home's to make them work with Snap Firefox, because of a 7 year old bug.

How was this not considered a blocker for moving a major Ubuntu component to Snap ?

Echo "If 'snap' can't support home directories that are not in /home then it's not fit for purpose." from above.
