Comment 55 for bug 1620771

The won't fix decision IMHO affects a few thousand people already. Some believe the snap doesn't work a all see:

it would be great if this issue would get much higher priority since it is a showstopper for so many potential users. I have never been able to use snap in the past just because of this. I retried to day following the instructions at https://sqlitebrowser.org/dl/ and was astonished and disappointed that the problem is not fixed.

For today my workaround is:

sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:linuxgndu/sqlitebrowser
sudo apt-get install sqlitebrowser

so basically not using snap. So for me snap is so far only a waste of time.
