Just for your information:
- The bug still exist in OpenSuse 11.0 x86_64

   MozillaThunderbird-2.0.0.17-3.1
   nscd-2.8-14.1

   nscd crashes as soon as thunderbird is launched

Using /usr/lib64/libldap-2.4.so.2 instead of /usr/lib64/thunderbird/libldap50.so seems to provide a good work-around.
