I totally understand your point of view - I don't like dealing with messy code either. It's just that from user's point of view I think Zencode has many advantages over Sparkup. It's not just about writing code but also about editing code - things like select in tag and wrap with abbreviation... I don't think Sparkup does that.

BTW, why is Sparkap in Scribes implemented always with the Sparkup bar, never writing directly inside editor? I am just curious; the workflow 'write inside editor and then hit the shortcut to unfold the code' seems more natural, one step shorter and more 'usable' then 'hit the shortcut to pop up the bar at the bottom, write inside it and then hit Enter to unfold the code inside of the editor'. Please don't take this the wrong way - I am not criticising, I am just asking.

I hope that you will at least keep Zencode in Scribes in the future. Just out of curiosity - would you be willing to accept money for fixing that bug?
