BTW I have noticed that this message,
ath5k phy0: noise floor calibration timeout (2412MHz), appears at the kernel 2.6.31-22 in karmic, esp. when transferring large files. It appears most on Ad-Hoc network (I may be wrong), but does not trigger disconnect as it is on later kernels. However, it seems that the network speed is drastically decreasing when it appears.
