I have a similar configuration
Athlon X2 4850e
1 TB SAMSUNG SpinPoint 32 MB 7200 rpm SATA 2 HD103UJ
Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H AMD 780 SB 700
Corsair Twinx 2x1GB DDR2 PC6400 800Mhz

I have the same problem, with a fresh install of Jaunty. Was working fine in Intrepid.
