The bandstructure data is hard-coded in efxv for a finite set of materials. Instead, a more flexible approach is needed. Ideally, this should:

1. Provide a generalised way of calculating the band edge data

2. Work for alloys of two or three different elemental or compound semiconductors

3. Read all material data from the QWWAD materials library
