Comment 17 for bug 485858

I had this system hang happening really rarely and now that I added new repositories, I upgraded with error:

Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/linux-firmware_1.38_all.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

then restarted and now I have

"starting init crypto disks [OK]" and then
eth0: link up, 100Mbps, full duplex ... or so, I don' t remember exactly.
Won' t boot up even in recovery mode. I will investigate more and see...
