Comment 1 for bug 137711

I don't see any plans to change this behavior. An automatic recursive dependency build can easily spiral out of control and backport half of the development distro over, which is clearly not what you want. Until someone can figure out better AI/heuristics for modifying/satisfying build deps, this feature is not trivial to implement.
