I had a few test with bigger number of data to write (-s) , 10/20/30 MB.
The result seems more reasonable to me, 10~13MB/s.

I also tested another disk with default size a few times,
the result varies from 5~15MB/s in 5 different test runs with default size (1MB).

I would suggest to increase written data to maybe 10MB.
