Jeremy, thanks for the update. If we can extend the embargo to June 3, that will be extremely helpful. While drafting the OSSN, I realized that the backports will not be as easy as I thought. To be specific, this problem applies to all stable branches, and we have a rename and some refactoring to deal with. So instead of having a single patch that could be applied to multiple releases, we're going to need multiple patches. The extra time would enable us to have these all ready for operators. I'll provide the details in another comment.
