> When the bug is in gtk that is provided by ubuntu 9.10, how should I get this bug fixed in this case?
GTK did change but the bug is not a gtk one but an eclipse issue, sometime software do things in a weird way which happens to work by chance that doesn't mean they do it correctly and that they will keep working
> There are many eclipse users out there that use ubuntu, which now have trouble to run it properly.
Then lobby to eclipse so they fix their software or set the variable, is it so hard to set an environment variable?
