Hi Chauncellor,

The scrolling speed is a personal preference. We don't yet have a mechanism for setting the proper scroll speed across applications, but it is definitely on the roadmap of things we need to do.

However, I'm going to close this bug because it is a general issue that requires lots of smaller bits of work to resolve, and we are well aware of the issue. Having these types of bugs clutters our bug reports, making it hard to see what we really need to work on.
