Actually that behavior is expected currently because the mouse-induced selector is visible and the keyboard-induced one is hidden. The keyboard one hides whenever a mouse one is invoked, but the mouse one does not hide when a keyboard one shows up again.
I think the keyboard one (actually selected) should not hide at all, the mouse one should hide even after a timeout with no mouse movement.
