Thanks for the reply Stuart. Can you please provide a brief guidance of how it is supposed to work? If so this would be a real big help.
Just to give you a brief backgroud of what i have done:
I am using Moodle 1.9.7 and enabled Openid plug in with it. When i enter login id (openid) on Moodle login page, i am taken to my openid server where I am asked to enter some more information and then click on confirm button(to go to Moodle home page), but here I am redirected to Moodle's index page with an error message saying "Authentication failed"!!
I believe that i should be authenticated the next time when I login using openid as my account already exist in Moodle DB.
Please adivce if I am understanding this correctly and this is how it is supposed to work.
