Just to make sure I understood you, what you want is:
Crates can be organized into folders, and when you select a folder in the library tree, the track list shows all the tracks that are in the crates in the selected folder.
So in your example above, selecting Rock, would show the songs in Symphonic and the songs in Hard at the same time.
Would this fulfill your needs? Would a single-parent tree (a crate can only belong to a single folder, like in your diagram) fulfill all your needs?
