One thing I will do is to either disable the "Help" button or remove it from all the tab under "Preferences" dialog. In addition to help, I want to do the following:-
Preferences
Main - Bob and I talked about redo the Download so that all
files will be downloaded to a specific location and
not allow the user to change it. I believe this is the approach iphone and other mobile browser took.
Tabs - Remove the option "New pages should be opened in:".
Always open external link in new tab.
Content - Stays the same.
Feeds - Stays the same.
Privacy - Stays the same.
Security - Stays the same.
Advanced:
General - Stays the same.
Network - Replace by gconf. If gconf not available, resize the dialog to fit the screen. The Cache option can be move into General tab.
Update - Stays the same for now. Don't really know how update is going to be handled in Midbrowser. Encryption - Stays put.
Asac, can any of these property pages handle thru gconf? Will gconf availabe for the mobile release by default? The current image-creator does not pull in gconf by default.
