To build a simple KVM host cluster that works across multiple machines on the local network you would need to be able to deploy more than 1 node and connect the KVM guests to a bridged network interface that bridges to the physical NIC of each node.
Once bridging is available a simple KVM cluster could be built in just a few steps directly from MAAS API, followed by using Landscape to deploy the additional KVM packages.
